Ponte Grande

Soleluna is situated 1,5 km  from  the hamlet Ponte Grande, where you can find a little grocery, a bar and 2 restaurants. 

Assisi Except that Assisi, only 6 km from SoleLuna, is the cultural pearl of Umbria, you can find here also a supermarket, banks, the post office, chemist's and many bars and restaurants. Assisi has also a public swimming pool and in the direct surroundings are tennis courts and a riding school.

The surrounding hills and the Valley of Umbria  lend itself excellently to make walks and cycle tours.

Cycling: Meravigliosa Umbria has made in the Valley of Umbria many descriptions of cycle routes. The clients of the holiday farm renting a bike get a 10 % reduction

Walking: Mount Subasio and its National Park offer many marked walking paths, which will take you through various landscapes. Certainly it is worth to visit the Eremo delle Carceri (hermitage) on Mount Subasio.

Wine-tastings and visiting a 'Frantoio' (olive oil mill) In the green Umbrian hills suffused with warm sunlight are produced excellent wines. A stay in Umbria without tasting some of these wines is impossible. We can organize for you a visit to a local winery in the Assisi D.o.c. area. Or you can visit a winery which produces organical wines near Bevagna.

Rafting, Kayak, Canoe, canyoning and hydrotrekking

On a distance of ca. 40 min. from Soleluna (close to Spoleto) Pangea organizes   from April till November different sportive activities.
